Birley Goes Pink
On 28th October to mark the Breast Cancer awareness day Birley staff took to the office and shop floor dressed in pink. A small donation was made by each participating staff member and everything from pink ribbons and socks to pink shirts and tops were worn to raise funds and help bring attention to the important cause of fighting Breast Cancer.
Josh Birkenshaw, apprentice bench joiner, was one of the many people who helped raise money for the charity whilst at work simply by wearing something pink. A total of £135 was raised for the charity.
