Dalton Labs
Situated on the Westlakes Science and Technology Park in West Cumbria, Dalton Cumbrian Facility is designed to compliment and expand the research and education capability of the UK's university sector and is part of a £20m joint investment by the University of Manchester and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
As part of this scheme they required a complete new laboratory installation and Birley with its specialist knowledge of this sector were asked to supply elements of the laboratory furniture.
Specialist surfaces with cable runs, shelving, sinks and storage cupboards were all supplied and installed on time and to budget.
