These benches were manufactured and supplied for the Annesley operation in Nottingham, the repair centre for laptops repairing over 1000 units per week. All items supplied were ESD (Electro Static Discharge) protected as they are used in an Area susceptible to Damage by Static. Protection included ESD worksurfaces, Operator Grounding to conform with the requirements of BS EN 61340-5-1 and all Benches were fitted with a deep and secure 2 drawer unit to accommodate changing shift patterns. The addition of an overshelf, Bin Rail Louve Panel and datapanel along with a PVC 3 compartment trunking to take Power, Data and Coax cables was designed to help manage the cabling requirements and keep the visible wiring to a minimum.
Installation was carried out over 5 consecutive weekends so as not to disrupt the day to day working and the Birley Installation Team worked closely with other trades to ensure the Benches were installed to the satisfaction of the client.
